I’m a writer who realized that if you don’t put your words in a nicely designed package, no one’s going to read them. From there, it was only a hop, skip and a jump to immersing myself in the study of design and ultimately adding “UX designer” to my moniker. Humans are both visual and verbal. I love the challenge of making these formats work together.

Through years of project management experience I’ve learned how to break down a challenge and work the pieces under the pressure of limited resources and limited time. Watching a lot of Star Trek has helped with this as well (so much team work! so much calm in the face of doom!). I love being part of a bridge crew, ahem, team and the things that can happen when a bunch of smart, hardworking people focus on a goal.
